Stricken für Puppenhauspuppen - Knitting for dolls' house dolls

Jetzt also mal zur Abwechslung eine Handarbeitsseite, obwohl es meiner Sammlerseele widerstrebt, Puppen und Stuben mit neuen Accessoires auszustatten, so sind manche Dinge alt eben kaum zu bekommen. Lange Zeit hatte ich auch mal das Projekt eines 50er-Jahre-Modesalons im Kopf und auch schon einiges alte und neue Zubehör dafür gesammelt. Es sah aber so "selbstgemacht" aus, dass ich die Idee verwarf - den Spaß am stricken habe ich aber nicht vergessen.

Es ist seltsam befriedigend, ein kompliziertes Teil zu stricken, wenn am Ende nach vielen Ab- und Zunahmen die richtige Maschenzahl noch vorhanden ist und ein Miniaturkleidungsstück entsteht. Wie ein Rätsel oder Soduko, das aufgeht. Am Strand ist das Licht genau richtig und beim Betrachten der Surfer, der Wellen und des Strandlebens kommt mit dem Strickzeug keine Langeweile auf. Diesmal wählte ich einen Puppenmantel, den ich schon mal vor Jahren für den beabsichtigten Modesalon gestrickt hatte, und der mein Lieblingsstück ist. Die Originalstrickanleitung aus einer Puppenhauszeitschrift der 90er habe ich schon lange nicht mehr, nur noch mein selbst zusammengefasstes und geändertes Zählmuster, alles wird in einem Stück gestrickt, bis auf die Ärmel:

Ich hatte viel Spaß mit dem blauen Mantel, habe den Grünen etwas vereinfacht, durch Weglassen der Knopflöcher und fehlenden Innenmanteltaschen, dann habe ich das Muster sozusagen halbiert und noch einen winzigen braunen Mantel gestrickt. Nächstes Mal sollte ich eine Caco als Modell mitnehmen und weitere Änderungen gemäß ihres Körpers vornehmen. Vielleicht könnte man auch einen Bademantel in weiß stricken?

I had much fun knitting the blue one, then trying to simplify by omitting the buttonholes and the inner pockets in the green one and at last minimizing all by half and creating the little brown coat. Next time I should not forget a Caco doll to have a model for further alterations.

Perhaps one in white? A bathing robe?

Zuhause habe ich nun festgestellt, dass die größeren Mäntel meiner größten Erna-Meyer-Puppe passen und der kleine Mantel sitzt einem Caco-Mädchen wie angegossen. Für den nächsten Meerurlaub habe ich nun ein neues Projekt: die Anpassung des Strickmusters an eine Caco-Dame. Natürlich kann man die Mäntel als Deko für Garderoben, Puppenschulen usw. auch verwenden.
At home I found out that the large coats fit a very large Erna-Meyer doll and the small coat is perfect for a Caco girl. Project for the next holiday: altering my pattern to fit a Caco woman. The coats can be used as decoration for wardrobes, coat racks, dolls' schools etc., too.
