Das sind die Zeitschriften für die wartenden Kundinnen des 70er Jahre Modella Friseursalons.
Alle Titel gibt es 40 Jahre später immer noch.
Auf der Verpackung des Hauswirtschaftsraums von Modella aus derselben Zeit wird auch für den Friseursalon geworben - aber die Zeitschriften sehen ganz anders aus!

On the box of the utility room of Modella from the same time they put an ad for the hairdresser's doll room - but the magazines look very strange!



Wie kommt Erich Honecker auf ein Titelblatt?

How does Erich Honecker (leader of the German Democratic Republic - East Germany - from 1971 until 1989) get on the cover of a west-german magazine?

Mir fällt nur eine Erklärung ein: Modella hat tatsächlich in die DDR exportiert und da durften natürlich keine kapitalistischen Zeitschriften in der Puppenstube zu sehen sein.
Was mich trotzdem sehr erstaunt, da ich bis jetzt der Meinung war, die DDR importierte aus Devisenmangel nicht viel aus dem kapitalistischen Ausland und Spielzeug hat die DDR doch selbst produziert.

Did the GDR imported this hairdresser's from the BRD? Naturally the magazines of capitalism would not have been allowed.
All very strange as the GDR was chronically short of foreign currency and imported only very urgently needed goods. And as we all know they produced dollhouses themselves (VERO).
