VERO dollhouse - model WARNA

frenchplaymo is a new member on flickr and she asked me for information on this dolls house she recently saw on (french?) ebay and fell in love with but did not get it because it got very expensive.
That is the picture she sent me:

THis picture I found on Sylvias excellent collector's website, she recently bought it with the original box but has not put it together yet.
PUPPENHAUS "WARNA" VON VERO 1970

A very similar house of this series is "Seeblick" - "Sea view"

And finally further models put on ebay in the past:
Note the logo "Germany" - opposite to "West-Germany" logos of that time.

History:
After the Second World War and the sudden existence of West-Germany and East-Germany, every old toy producing firm began anew. While many West-German firms would soon profit by the "German Economic Wonder" of the 50s and 60s East-German traditional toy manufacturers had to react according to the political changes in the now communistic country. Those small enterprises were not the first concern of the new government, but after socializing the more important industries, in the 50s and 60s there was a lot of pressure on small independent manufactorers to give up and join the nationally-owned enterprises (political pressure, denunciation, no raw materials, no foreign or national market, rising taxes). By the by most of them gave in and in 1972 the remaining ones were finally disowned by law (Paul Hübsch, Moritz Gottschalk, Albin Schönherr).
VEB VERO Olbernhau was the nationally-owned entreprise which gathered from 1966 on all toy-related firms (former 98 individual manufacturers). The products were distributed by the nationally-owned DEMUSA in Berlin. After the German reunification the firm still existed until 1998.
Interesting for collectors: from 1972 until 1990 every toy in East-Germany was produced by VERO - because there was no one else left. Many excellent progressive designers worked for VERO and as the products were distributed mainly on foreign markets - to get the much needed foreign currencies - VERO dollhouses are found in every country.

Additions and corrections are welcome!
