Auf englischsprachigen Puppenstubensammlerseiten werden oft alte Baukästen gezeigt, mit denen man auch Puppenhäuser bauen konnte. Vielleicht sollten so auch Jungen in das Spiel mit einbezogen werden? Natürlich wurden solche Kästen auch in Deutschland hergestellt. Ich besitze einen Kasten aus den 60er Jahren und auf dem Deckel werden schon 3 mögliche Puppenstuben oder -häuser vorgestellt, dazu auch eine Tankstelle, damit der Bruder mit seinen Autos auch mitspielen konnte.
On English dolls house collectors' sites I often see beautiful old building kits to construct dolls houses. Perhaps they should prompt boys and girls to play together? In Germany they produced building kits, too. I have a plastic one from the 60s and the cover features three possible dolls rooms or houses, and a gas station as well - so that the little brother could bring his toy cars.
Ich habe mir dieses Modell als Vorbild genommen, in der Vorlage verwendet man Plastikmöbel von Crailsheimer und Modella und dem Beispiel folgend habe ich mich für frühe Modella-Puppenmöbel als Einrichtung entschieden.
I tried to copy the model above. The pictures of the box show interiors with plastic furniture of Crailsheimer and Modella so I decided to take Modella furniture of that period which is quite rare.

Am besten gefallen mir die Wandverzierungen, die im Bausatz enthalten sind, sie dienen wohl ursprünglich zur typischen Außenverzierung der Häuser, so wie man es auf vielen Häusern aus dieser Zeit kennt. Ich habe sie als Bilder in der Stube eingesetzt.
