Chronologie - Modella - Chronology

Viele der Informationen, die ich bis jetzt über die Firma Modella zusammengetragen habe, findet man unter einem Link auf der rechten Spalte in diesem Blog. 

A link on the right column of my blog leads to a page of information about the firm Modella.

It is written only in German for the time being but I think the photos with the dates will help a lot identifying products of Modella.

Meine Aufzeichnungen erstrecken sich zunächst nur bis 1974, denn danach löste sich die Firma bald auf und wurde von wechselnden Besitzern bis zum endgültigen Ende weitergeführt. Danach gab es auch keine neuen Entwicklungen mehr, die alten Gießformen und Vorlagen wurden einfach neu aufgelegt und anders sortiert. 

Auch die Lizenzen für die spanische Firma Modisa, die fast dasselbe Angebot um 1970 und später verkaufte, sind noch nicht berücksichtigt.

Ergänzungen oder Korrekturen oder Fotos sind herzlich willkommen.

At the moment my chronology ends with the year 1974 because after that the firm died slowly by changing owners and there were no new products any more - just a recycling of the old ones.

Neither did I include the relation to the Spanish firm Modisa which had nearly the same range of products around 1970 and later.

Just take a large piece of cardboard, paint walls and floor of the rooms in shades of green and yellow, add some photos of accessories and pin them on the walls - and do not forget a window with an interesting view: that's it!

Man nehme ein großes Stück Karton, bemale Wände und Böden in allen Schattierungen von Gelb und Grün, klebe einige Fotos von typischen Accessoires an die Wände, vergesse nicht ein Fensterfoto mit einem interessanten Ausblick - und fertig!

1971 VERO Bungalow

Diese VERO Stube habe ich schon aus der Sammlung Anna Setz vorgestellt, hier nun eine Version aus der Sammlung Gronau.
This VERO bungalow I already presented from the collection of Anna Setz. These photos were now sent to me  from the collection Gronau/Halver. 

Die Stube hat noch ihr Originaldach und den Blumenständer, der als Raumteiler eingesetzt werden kann.

It still has its roof and the original flower stand which can be used as a room partition. 

Typische VERO-Blumenbank und Terrassenmusterung, auf dem Plastikfenster oben links das Logo.

Altmann Holzmöbel aus den 60ern passen in ihrer schlichten Form sehr gut in dieses Wohnzimmer. Die Couchgarnitur gab es in vielen Farben, gelb-schwarz hatte ich vorher noch nicht gesehen.

The chaste wooden furniture of Altmann from the 60s fits very well. The three-piece suite was made in many colours but the one in yellow-black I never saw before.

Puppen in Modella Stuben - Dolls in Modella room boxes

"Das Spielzeug" 1971

1971 saß im neu erschienenen Friseursalon von Modella eine Modepuppe mit blonden Haaren. Dieselbe Puppe dekorierte auch 1973 die Gartenparty. Wer war wohl der Hersteller? Modella sicherlich nicht.

In 1971 and in 1973 the Modella room boxes "At the hairdresser's" and "Garden party" included small fashion dolls. Who was the maker? Because Modella certainly did not produce these dolls.

In der Sammlung WK Niederrhein konnte ich diese Puppe zum ersten Mal live bewundern:

... und 1974 wurde mit dieser schwarzhaarigen Modepuppe geworben. Hergestellt von der gleichen Firma?
...and in 1974 they placed this dark haired doll in an advertisement, from the same maker?

Wer kennt sich mit Modepuppen aus dieser Zeit aus?

Oft waren auch diese einfachen Plastikpuppen in den Modella Stuben zu finden.
Ysé nannte mir den Hersteller dieser Puppen.
Very often you could find these simple plastic dolls in Modella room boxes. Ysé knew the maker of this doll.
Galba, Made in Italy

  Auch diese Puppe scheint von Galba zu sein. - This doll is by Galba, too, I guess.

Nur 1960 versuchte sich Modella tatsächlich selbst an der Puppenherstellung, gut kann man sie allerdings nicht erkennen und so weiß ich nicht, ob ich sie schon mal gesehen habe.
Only at the beginning of the 1960s Modella produced little plastic dolls and advertised them proudly. I am not sure whether I have already seen them.
