1960er Wohnzimmer - Paul Hübsch - 1960s living room furniture

 Über die Küchenmöbel von Paul Hübsch habe ich letztes Mal geschrieben, dieses Mal stelle ich ein Wohnzimmer vor, das wahrscheinlich Ende der Sechziger Jahre verkauft wurde.

Last time I posted about the 60s kitchen furniture of Paul Hübsch, now I present an (end of the?) 60s living room in its original sale box.

Schrank, Kommode und Tisch sind im weißen schlichten Schleiflackstil, nur die Sitzmöglichkeiten sind etwas gewagter im Design.
Cupboards and table are made in simple white matt-lacquered style, only the seats are a little bit more daring.

Beschwingtes Muster des Bezuges, statt Sofa eine flotte Liege und statt Sesseln ungezwungene (und unbequeme) Hocker.
Casual modern pattern of the seat covers, easygoing (and uncomfortable) divan and stools instead of couch and armchairs.

Zur gleichen Zeit - oder früher? - wird auch dieses traditionellere Wohnzimmer verkauft. Die Blume, die Buchattrappen sind geblieben, auch die Tischform ist gleich.

At the same time - or a bit earlier? - this more traditional looking livingroom was sold. Flower pot and books are the same, just like the form of the table.

Küchen von - Paul Hübsch - kitchen

Aus dem Messekatalog Leipzig von 1964 stammt dieser Eintrag für die Puppenmöbelfabrik Paul Hübsch, in dem man auch schön das Logo erkennen kann. Noch ist die Firma trotz politischem und wirtschaftlichem Druck selbstständig.

In 1964 the firm Paul Hübsch is still producing doll's furniture in the traditional ore mountains of East Germany despite of many political and economical obstacles that would eventually lead to the nationalization of the company in 1972.

In der Mitte der 60er hatten sie eine auffallende Holzküche im Angebot, auffallend wegen des schönen Mosaikmusters der Tischplatte. Die Möbel wurden in vielen Farben und Größen verkauft. In dieser Puppenküche habe ich einige zum Vergleich nebeneinander gestellt.

In the middle of the 60s they had a wooden kitchen on sale which is quite attractive because of its table with a mosaic pattern.

In the room above I arranged several scales and colours of this kitchen.

Mosaiktisch - mosaic table

Die Möbel wurden in diesen Kartons verkauft, auf dem ein VERO Puppenhaus zu sehen war. Der Maßstab 1:15 passte zu den kleineren Möbeln von Paul Hübsch. In der Küche ist auch der Mosaiktisch zu sehen.

This is one of the cardboard boxes in which the doll's furniture was sold. The cover shows a VERO dolls house - scale 1:15 like Lundby - with Paul Hübsch furniture. In the kitchen is the table with the mosaic pattern.

From 1972 onwards the now nationalized company still produced their kitchen furniture operating under the name "VEB Puppenmöbel Seiffen" but in 1976 they were also integrated in the one and only national  company for wooden toys:  VERO  - signifying the end of Paul Hübsch's doll's furniture production. The following photos show a wooden kitchen with a new plastic table and plastic chairs.

VEB Puppenmöbel Seiffen 1972 - 1976

Die Firma Hübsch wurde 1972 auch zwangsenteignet und trug den neuen Firmennamen „VEB Puppenmöbel Seiffen“. Aber 1976 wurde auch dieses Kombinat in die VERO eingegliedert und die Puppenmöbelfertigung ganz eingestellt. Die Holzküche aus dieser Zeit ähnelt noch sehr der 60er Küche von Paul Hübsch - nur der wunderschöne Küchentisch ist durch die VERO Variante in Plastik ersetzt worden.

1971 VERO Bungalow

Diese VERO Stube habe ich schon aus der Sammlung Anna Setz vorgestellt, hier nun eine Version aus der Sammlung Gronau.
This VERO bungalow I already presented from the collection of Anna Setz. These photos were now sent to me  from the collection Gronau/Halver. 

Die Stube hat noch ihr Originaldach und den Blumenständer, der als Raumteiler eingesetzt werden kann.

It still has its roof and the original flower stand which can be used as a room partition.

Altmann Holzmöbel aus den 60ern passen in ihrer schlichten Form sehr gut in dieses Wohnzimmer. Die Couchgarnitur gab es in vielen Farben, gelb-schwarz hatte ich vorher noch nicht gesehen.

The chaste wooden furniture of Altmann from the 60s fits very well. The three-piece suite was made in many colours but the one in yellow-black I never saw before.

Wohnzimmer im 1960er - Moritz Gottschalk Bungalow - 1960s living room

Ich wählte rot (rötliche Möbel) und blau als Grundfarben aus.

I chose a red-blue colour scheme.

TV, Schrank und Tisch sind von Paul Hübsch.
TV, cupboard and table are made by Paul Hübsch.

Aus diesem Blickwinkel sieht man die asymmetrische Form der Schränke.
From this angle you see the asymmetrical form of the cupboards.

 

 Das Haus hatte jemand in späteren Jahren neu tapeziert und mit Teppich ausgelegt.

When I got the dolls house it was repapered and had a glued carpet instead of the old linoleum.
