Caco Innenleben - Caco interior

Bis in die 60er Jahre hatten Caco Biegepuppen Masseköpfe und Zinnhände und -füße. Über einem Drahtgerüst, das mit feiner Holzwolle aufgepolstert wurde, wickelte man einen hautfarbenen Baumwollstreifen. 1945 bis 1951 wurde das Baumwollband durch ein hautfarbenes Klebeband ersetzt - Puppen aus dieser Zeit kann man leicht erkennen. 1964 bekamen die Puppen Köpfe und Hände aus Plastik, wegen der Standfestigkeit ließ man ihnen wohl noch die Zinnfüße. Diese Dame ist aus dieser Zeit.

Up to the 60s Caco dolls had had composition heads with metal hands and feet for many years. They were made with a wire armature, padded with layers of fine wood shavings and then wrapped with flesh-coloured cotton thread. After WWII the wrapping was substituted by a flesh-coloured tape until 1951. 1964 the composition heads changed into plastic heads and the metal hands changed into plastic hands - this lady is from that time.

Der Draht wurde schon beim Guss der hochhackigen Schuhe hineingesteckt. Hier sieht man deutlich das Polstermaterial, die feinen Holzspäne.
The wire was molded into the high-heeled shoes and you see the layer material, fine wood carvings.

Einige Zeit später wurde das Polstermaterial durch Schaumstoff und die Metallschuhe durch Kunststoff ersetzt, wie dieser Caco Junge von Ende der 60er zeigt.
But in the middle of the 60s the layer was substituted by rubber foam and the metal shoes by plastic ones as this boy illustrates.
