Plastikmöbel von Jean sind allen Sammlern der 60er und 70er bekannt, aber die Firma war nach ihrer Gründung 1923 in Fürth zunächst für ihr preiswertes Blechspielzeug bekannt. Erst in den 50er Jahren schwenkte man auf das damals noch billigere Plastik um.

Plastic furniture of Jean is wellknown among collectors of the 60s and 70s, just like Modella and Crailsheimer. They had different scales, e.g. one production line went very well with Lundby dollshouses.
Founded in 1923 in Fürth, Germany, they had much success producing cheap tin toys and in the 1950s they changed their material to the then even cheaper plastic. The link above leads to a German collector's website with a detailed firm history.
logo 1959 - 1966
"Made in W. Germany": diese Möbel müßten zwischen 1959 und 1966 hergestellt sein, wenigstens laut diversen Sammlerseiten im Internet, denn danach war das Logo der Firma ein Büffel und keine Weltkugel mehr - ich kann kaum glauben, dass sie so alt sind.
These furniture was produced in "W. Germany" - and according to several collectors' sites they are from 1959 to 1966 because after that period the logo changed from a globe to a buffalo - I can't believe that they are really that old.
The problem of scale again. I bought them for my OKWA dolls house from the 70s which needs a livingroom but these pieces are a little bit too small. In fact, they just do not fit to any of my dolls...
Eigentlich sollten die Möbel in mein OKWA Puppenhaus, da verschwinden sie optisch aber, weil sie ein bisschen zu klein sind. Vom Maßstab her passen sie zu keiner meiner Puppen...
