Immer, wenn ich mir diese Anzeige anschaute, wunderte ich mich, welche Puppenmöbel hier wohl abgebildet sind. Gerade die Küchenmöbel sahen aus wie bereits eingebaut. Wenn man die Patentanmeldung liest, staunt man aber erst recht, welch ausgeklügelte Idee dahinter steckt:

Each time I looked at this ad I wondered what kind of dolls furniture they had used. Especially the kitchen unit looked as if it was made especially for this house. Reading the patent specification I was astonished about the ingenious fabrication:

 

Das Patent beschreibt das neue offene Puppenhaus aus Kunststoff, dessen Wände im  Tiefziehverfahren hergestellt werden, wobei die Möbel teilweise schon mit den Wänden ausgezogen werden, d.h. die komplette Badezimmereinrichtung ist eingebaut., auch im Wohnzimmer die Anrichte an der Rückwand und der Kamin, im Schlafzimmer das Bett an der Rückwand und die Frisiertoilette, genauso wie fast alle Küchenschränke.

The patent for a new open doll house made of plastic describes the forming of walls by integrating the furniture in a thermoforming process, i.e. the complete bathroom equipment is already installed by this procedure. In the living room, the sideboard and the fireplace are fixed on the wall, in the bedroom the bed on the back wall and the dressing table, and almost all kitchen cabinets are crafted with the walls.
