Wer war wohl der Hersteller dieser Biegepuppen?
Sehr sehr selten tauchen sie mal bei ebay auf, dort wissen die Sammler wohl nicht viel damit anzufangen, deshalb kann man sie manchmal günstig bekommen.
Auch im Lexikon der Puppenstuben und Puppenhäuser sind sie zu sehen, als Ausstattung einer Stube mit Möbeln von Paul Hübsch aus den 30er Jahren, sind sie vielleicht doch noch älter als ich vermute?
I wonder who manufactured these posable dolls in Germany? They are offered very very rarely on ebay and when this happens - nobody seems to know whether they are worth collecting or not, so I got them for reasonable prices.
I have never seen any information about them but in the German encyclopedia Lexikon der Puppenstuben und Puppenhäuser they are pictured in a room box with furniture of Paul Hübsch of the 1930s. Does that mean they are older than I supposed?
Sie sehen aus, als stammten sie aus den 50ern, haben einen Massekopf, Lederschuhe und -hände, Beine und Arme sind aus einer mit Draht durchzogenen dicken Kordel.

They look as if they are from the 50s, they have composition heads, leather shoes and hands, arms and legs are made of a wired thick round cord.

Es gab sogar mehrere Größen: der Großvater rechts ist 1:12, der andere ist zwar gleich gekleidet aber sehr viel kleiner.
They even came in different scales: the grandfather on the right in 1/12, the one on the left dressed the same way but much smaller.
Das sieht zwar aus wie ein Opa mit Enkel im altmodischen Spielanzug, aber...
This looks like granddad with grandchild in an oldfashioned playsuit - but...
...ich denke, dass es ein Monteur im Arbeitsanzug und in noch kleinerem Maßstab ist, passend zu Blechautos der damaligen Zeit.
...I guess it is a mechanic in overalls in an ever smaller scale, belonging to tin cars of this period.
