Mein Lieblingspuppenhaus im Museum der Kindheit in Edinburgh - bestimmt das lauteste Museum der Stadt und, wie viele Museen dort, sogar ohne Eintrittsgebühr.

This dolls house can be seen in the wonderful Museum of Childhood in Edinburgh - surely the most noisiest museum in the city, free admission, too!

Hmmm, manchmal regnete es in Schottland.

 Oh, yes, sometimes it was raining in Scotland.

Ich wusste nichts von der originellen königlichen Geschichte dieses Puppenhauses, hier die Beschreibung des Museums im Original:

 I did not know the royal history of this dolls house, truely adding to its charme:

"Based on 'Y Bwythn Bach that was designed, built, decorated and furnished by the craftsmen of Wales as a present to H.M. The Queen, then Princess Elizabeth, on her sixth birthday 21 April 1932 The Little House is a real home in miniature, built to accomodate a child of six years old.

It is 24 ft long by 8 ft in depth and with rooms about 5 ft, supplied with heat, light, running water, gas cooking facilities and a telephone.

It has four rooms, kitchen and a sittingroom downstairs, bedroom and bathroom upstairs.

Today The Little House is in Windsor Great Park London."

Ich versuche gerade ein scharfes Foto zu machen, wegen des Lichts und der Glasscheibe gelingt es mir nicht, glücklicherweise gelang es meinem Mann mit seiner Kamera besser.

 I am trying to take a photograph of it and fail due to bad light and the glass of the showcase. My husband was more successful with his camera.
